For our landscaping work, we work closely with Landscape Alaska to provide some of the best landscapes in Juneau.
Fall
In the Fall we assist our customers in getting 'buttoned up' for the coming Winter season.
Fall is when we help our clients prepare for the upcoming snow season. We try to shut down our excavation and digging operation by the first of October due to the rainy season. We do continue our sweeping maintance contracts until the first hard freeze (usually around the middle of November).
In conjunction with our service work, we provide month-to-month storage for cars, trucks, boats, RV's and trailers in our outside, fenced yard located at 9397 Laperouse, next to the airport. Inside storage at this time is limited to a 3000sq. ft. warehouse and an 800 sq. ft. office space currently under a long-term lease to SAGA.
There is a 5000 sq. ft. heated mini storage building in the plans, plus a 1/2 acre lot bordering the Juneau Airport on which we can build to suit.
Retail Services
We sell a variety of soil mixtures to suit a number of standard and custom applications.
- Topsoil
- Lawn Mix (Local peat mixed with washed sand and lime to produce a balanced harmonized material with a pH of between 6 and 7, and an organic contact of at least 20% screened to 3/8" minus. Perfect for lawns, this product drains well and is easy to work with.
- Garden Mix (Screened to less then 1/2" with local peat and washed sand, and having an organic content of at least 40%.
